All around, you will be able to enjoy stunning views over the gardens towards the surrounding countryside which encapsulate the Jurassic Coast. Explore the wildlife, watch the Badgers, Foxes, Pheasants and Rabbits in there natural habitat.
In the formal garden, you will frequently see Deer drinking at the pond. A lovely walk of about a mile through the paddock and down a picturesque bridle path brings you into the 13th century Smugglers Inn and the “World Heritage Coastal Path”. Much of the area is as it might have been when these historic barns were built, known by locals as the SMUGGLING COAST.
In Spring and Summer, roses tumble in fragrant profusion. In autumn, you will find golden tints in abundance if you wish to hide yourself away, the ancient woodland with its babbling brook is ideal for a romantic evening stroll.
